nitrous?

how does a rotary handle nitrous? on a rebuilt engine of course... I'm not planning on putting any on my car right now or anything but I was just curious after checking out my friends chevelle that has some nos hooked up to it. when he hit the button, WOW, I was giggling like a little girl haha

anyways I don't know much about nitrous so I don't know if its bad for the rotary or what... so just tell me something... anything... cuz chances are that I don't know it haha

Re: nitrous?

Well my friend chris "had" an S4 base , and it took him 15 bottles to blew a colant seal. the only thing done was 5th and 6th ports open air pump remove, with a single straigh pipe. with the 75 shot NOS . he was in the high 14 tho! he has videos of him beating a corvette. i know iknow vettes are doing 13's ,but the guy suck at his launchs.

Re: nitrous?

so say a 50 shot of wet nitrous on a rebuilt engine would be nice? I'll have to keep that in the back of my head for the future just incase haha

Fuel!!!FUEL!!!Fuel!!! I have talk to several Nitrous companies and even on the wet system they only Suggest 75 but they say thats to cover there A$$.. Im running 125 dry on my 88 with 169,000miles and fixing to roll over, Fuel is your friend, I have filled my bottle up at least 2 dozen times and emptied it at the track and on the highway over and over again my fuel was always a tad rich and always made sure engine ran KOOL oh yeah the 7 goes from 65 to 140 real quick but I still have stock ecu wont go above cut off but when I purchased my car it did not run "sealssealsseals they let it sit over the winter" so I poured ATF in the plug holes and intake she started up after about the 5th time, ran the engine for a bit SMoKES like HELL neighbors will love you. Then tune up immediatly!!!, OIL change, plugs ofcourse the atf will foul them out... dont forget to use INTAKE cleaner only NOT carb or carb/intake cleaner YOU WANT INTAKE ONLY use sparingly to much will dry out your seals again then, process all OVER lol...Every other oil change i will do this and every oil change i will use one bottle of lucas oil "no synthetic" <<<trust me it works KEPT my turbo from burning up on myGSX and vouch for it on my 7 >>> , change my plugs " I have seen my car improve every single time with clean plugs rotorys + carbon build up and old seals lead to bad plugs ",20 50W Castrol GTX has one of the cleanist burn off DO NOT USE Synthetic it does not like to burn off... This is what i have SEEN work on my own vehicle I do not endorse these product ofcoure they havent sponsered me yet!!!>>>laughing<<< oh yeah im looking for a HEADER for my 88 RX7 cheapest I found at my cost was around $140 for pacesetters.anyone??? please email me at [email protected]

Re: nitrous?

dont go over shots of 50
myself, i dont like the idea of running nos for any other reason other than to spool a big turbo.
