350 from Junk Yard?
-I was thinking about getting a V8 from a junk yard just to work on it and possibly rebuild it and make it work. Hopefully I could find a 350. I was just wondering if anyone has done anything like this and if its worth it.
- Thanks for any comments |

Re: 350 from Junk Yard?
I've pulled several 350's out of junkyards. All have been good builders. Pull the heads and the pan. Make sure it turns ok and that there is no damage that you can see. Go to mortec.com, you can get engine casting numbers there so you can see what your looking at.
