Clean Altezza...

Well... The project started out to make a clean stock looking Altezza... But after I got done with the intercooler set-up... It became apperent it wasnt going to be as clean as I had desired.

So its a colmination of radical, and simple... Hope you like it.

Once again I thought the stock color, was fine with this car... And I couldnt find any wheels that tickled my fancy, so I just modified the existing stockies.

Any pointers?

O and by the way... The intercooler is supposed to be 'Slant' Mounted like that... It wasnt a flaw.

Make your CF pattern WAY smaller. And those intercooler pipes seem awful huge. Other than that, everything else looks real nice.

BTW, is that a snake in the passenger side air dam?

Yea thats one thing that shouted out at me... The carbon fiber patern was far too large.

I stole that intercooler set-up from a 300ZedX Twin Turbo, the car was at the same angle... But now that I look at it, it does seem a tad large.

O and thats not a snake ... Air filter Ace... Air filter.

when i saw the car i was pretty much amazed with the way people manage to ruin a great car lol seriously man why would u do somethin like that to a an altezza hahaha plus i couldnt believe that it was u who did it, seriously ur Z with murcielago's bodykit looked waaaaay more professionaly done.

even though the IC should be at the angle it is now, it still be wrong perspective wise, air filter (green snake lol) is too visible when u have an intercooler that deep inside u normaly will be able to see just a bit of green and it would be very dimmed, IC pipes are way too large in relation to intercooler itself, mesh grille is wrong perspective wise.

purges look good so as rims i like them.

actualy if no one would say it was CF patter on the hood, headlights and mirrors then i'd think it was a custom paint job lol

MUCH BETTER.

The CF pattern is still a tad on the large size though, shrink it down so you can barely see any waeve at all. Then you will have it down pat.

Ok, so your saying make the hood like the rear views covers?

Makes sense... This project has given me some crazy ideas... You've gotta see what Im working on now

I'll give you a hint... Its a G35... And it has carbon fiber... Lots... And Lots... of Carbon Fiber

Its going to take me a day or so, but I'll make a new thread for it.

i still like rims and pruges, those look cool. carbon fiber looks better but IMO its a bit large and curved, thats just my opinion

The rims are slick and i've never though about a NOS purge before, I can only suggest to make the CF pattern smaller, instead of using the spin blur, use the twirl filter a little bit and use layer blendings to help ease the transition of carbon fiber into the hood.....

Filter - Distort - Twirl @ -20 on that application

And its multiple layered for a better hi-light lo-light effect.

Yea the Nitrous purge is becoming my personal signature... Its so sweet looking
