Progress~Hasegawa Honda Civic SiR-II :Verde Artemis Pearl:

Model is Hasegawa Honda Civic SiR-II. Paint is Cobra Colors Lamborghini Verde Artemis Pearl (40th Anniversary). Wheels will be Aoshima Hasemi Sport (still haven't arrived). Front lip was customized to look like a Mugen front bumper lip. Rear hatch wing was extended to replicate Spoon Sports aero wing (will be covered in CF). Debating on wether making an Apexi N1 muffler or a J's Racing 60RS Circuit muffler. Interior might be with a Spoon Sports bucket seat for the driver and an OEM seat for the passenger. Back seats will be used in this model. I believe thats about it

Looks like we can expect another clean Honda from Joeham. Can't wait to see more progress.
1 Question though... what's up with the cancer spots on the roof? Is that something showing thru the Cobra color primer or just a bad pic?

Love those EG's!!! And I know you'll do it justice!
Both spoilers look hot!!
My suggestion:
Switch it up a little, open the hood and drop a K20 in

Thanks man, Cancer Spots were from the previous primer i had used on it (Brite Touch). Too bad that primer didn't handle Putty to well (It was my main reason for ordering VX Primer).

That was my original plan. I have the K20 sitting right next to me from the new Revell RSX and another Civic EG front clip sitting next to me. I was going to open it up and use the Revell Civic Engine bay, but then i realized that the Revell kits provide a firewall for LHD cars. I would have to completely convert everything and i really wouldn't look forward to doing any of that stuff. I'd rather find another Revell Hatchback and swap the K20 in there and keep it LHD. For now the K20 doesn't have a owner yet, lol, its just laying around.

If you have an EG front clip laying around you're bound to have an EG dash laying around. This is a very easy dash to sawp to LHD, give it a go, esp. since a tutorial from the past surfaced on the main page. I was actually planning to do this very thing this afternoon.

Hey 675datsun,

Here's some pics of the K20 when it was still in my possession.

Joeham, that honda is gonna look beautiful in the lambo color. If anyone can make a honda appeal to me, it's you. Good luck man.

Thanks blubaja!!! That is so rad...I got hooked on the K20 swap since I saw the TOP Setup EG hatch in the Best Motoring and this ride at a local show:

I'm asssuming this is 1/25 since it's from REvell? Will it look fine in a 1/24 EG engine bay?

Yup, It will look fine in a EG Civic. The Hasegawa EG Civics are a bit on the small side. The Fujimi EK4 Civics are the big boys

Will: Yea It would be easy to convert it to LHD with the dashboard, Or maybe just use an Integra Dashboard since they fit perfectly and i have plenty of those in LHD. But the thing is the Firewall. I have no clue yet, I think i'll let this K20 for an EK if i find one. I always wanted to do a K20 with ITB's on an EK Would be an awesome track car

BTW: I just finished putting the basecoat on. Will wait a minute or two to put another coat of basecoat on it. I have been messing around with my Accord too. Mixed this really nice color for the accord but it keeps coming out like crap (airbrushing Dupli Color isn't the best)
