How to replace door mirror

Hi,

My daughter ripped the driver side mirror off of her 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 Hot 2 door Couple today.

I'm looking for guidance on how I can manually replace it. It is an electrical model to make it more complicated. I think I located a replacement at a junk yard which will save $100.

I tried taking the inside door panel off but I must be missing something as it isn't obvious how to remove it to get to the mirror mounts. I also need help figuring out how to connect the electrical connections.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
