Its kinda funny how the little things are always over looked.

Re: quick question.

well, as a general rule of thumb i always just put 35 psi in there.

Re: quick question.

Helllllll NO!

35psi is what most tires maximum capacity is... That ruins the integrity of the tire if it gets pushed too hard... Then your riding on alloy heading into a ditch.

I would say no more than 30psi front, 32-35psi rear... But check before you mess with it!

Re: quick question.

Doesn't it say under your center compartment? I know mine does ('90 TT). But my tires aren't stock, I don't think the previous owner replaced them with the same exact tires. What should be a good psi if the tire max for the front is 38psi and the rear is 44psi. Does 34-35psi and 40psi respectivly sound good?

Re: quick question.

I ran my ZX2 on the road with 32PSI, and on the track with 36PSI front and rear. Some times I would drop it down to 28PSI depending on the course conditions.

I will run these at about 32PSI then... seems like a safe number.

When all else fails ......look at the sidewall of the tire.

i dont think i have the stock tires on my Z but my max is 44psi. i usually keep about 38-42psi in them. my nittos 555's max was 52psi but usually kept about 46-48psi. not that it matters, they dont hold up to curbs to well. ill tell you that much.

BTW: i have michelin pilots or something like that.
