Re: mAd m0dz Q

go with some 18's, youll get more traction and a way better take off, better than any slicks
oh and, make sure you get some strong zip ties for the front bumper and tape that wing on good becuase a 80 mph pass is gonna destroy your car, dont forget the type-r swap, take of those DX stickers, and put on the big red TYPE-R, at least a 80 hp difference to all four wheels, and i second that v8 comment.

Try the Del Sol forum sometime. Lucky to have ten new threads in a month's time. I have to come over here and bother you Civic people to pass the time.

Re: mAd m0dz Q

ya when i had my two del sols earlier this year i used to look in the sol forum but it was pretty bare, id have better luck just trying everything possible out of the manual before I got a response on it. i ended up putting a gs-r tranny on my b16a2 and i figured that since i could hit 125 in fourth gear it was probably the wrong choice for inproving my 0-60. i should have just come over to 92-95 civic earlier on. i only paid 800 for the 99 gsr tranny with installation so thats not bad, it had perfect synchros, just long gears which didnt help me in trying to get my sol under 10 second EIGHTH mile. never ran on a quarter mile track =\

Re: mAd m0dz Q

The B16A isn't known for torque. Longer gears don't help the matter either. If you ever acquire another Del Sol, the Team Sol forums are constantly busy. You'll find more than you'd care to know about Sol's and what to do there.
