Alternator from a CRX DX bolt up to a ZC?

My alternator is whining on my DOHC ZC. I have the old alternator from my original D15B2 engine. Will it bolt right up to the ZC's block without modification? If it will not, what make/model of car do I need to search for an alternaor off of? I would "ass'u'me" an 88-91 Integra? If this helps, my ZC in an 88 Model.

Troy

Sounds great! So, there's no difference in mounting brackets or bolt locations?

Re: Alternator from a CRX DX bolt up to a ZC?

Problem solved! I pulled my old alt from my 89DX and put it on the DOHC ZC. Everything is now quiet under the hood... Thanks for the help!

Re: Alternator from a CRX DX bolt up to a ZC?

My alternator is brand new, and it whines like a bitch. I've had it tested and it works great, other than the noise. Is this something I should worry about?

Will the d15 alternator work on a b16? If I understand right, it will as long as it's non-obd, right?
