Re: what could cause this?

was it a GM mount?
is your car modded?
is everything else suspention wise tight?
is the trans mount crossmember tight?
what makes you think its broke?

Re: what could cause this?

ok, cuz the rubber seperated from the metel so it slides left and right while its going.
as far as mods, im unsure, as far as i know its completly STOCK.
and the trans crossmember is tight, because i checked it today, thats whati thought the problem was but it wasnt, it was the rubber seperated from the metel.
and it was a mount they gave me at autozone.
and as far as i KNOW everything suspention wise is tight.

Re: what could cause this?

take the mount back, if you just replaced it they should give you a new one, because there is no reason for the rubber to seperate from the metal, it was faulty. and i might also suggest, use ACdelco parts. Its all ive ever used on my camaros, and have no complaints.

Re: what could cause this?

OEM parts made by GM for your car should most definately last.
