Red face Rear Calipers are Woofing

My 84 prelude has a woofing noise in the back of it. I always thought that it was just the bearings needing grease, but that's not the case. I also wears brake pads unevenly which I thought was separate. It's not. It seems that the cause of both of these problems is the slide bar on the calipers. My guess is that they are locked up on both sides and that's the problem. I'll probably look at it next monday, but I wanted to post this to get comments and to help any ppl who may have a similar problem. P.S.- The slide I'm talking about is what the caliper screws on to. When you take it off the car, it's the piece with the bood that moves in and out, allowing the caliper to "slide".
