Re: performance parts

Man, I'm glad your not picking on my car.
I think what your going to hear, and you said it yourself, 3800's are "parts friendly". But, we'll check all the sites and see what's up. Big-L had a couple.
CIVIC ah?

Re: performance parts

I removed my previous posts, I realize I was not being helpful at all, sorry.
I have heard of people turbocharging the 3.1 it has a very strong bottom end, but this is hearsay I dont know how true it is.
I also believe GM did it from the factory on a couple model year GP's maybe late 80's FWD with 3.1.
maybe you could rig one of those systems up.
That truly would be unique and probably pretty damn fast.

Anybody ever hear of this being done?

Kid I would never pick on your car, I bow to it.

Re: performance parts

Well just got off the phone with a couple of the companies. They said they don't carry anything. Company said in the last 2 years, they have been asked for parts for that motor twice. But I will keep looking.
The turbo is $3,000.00. A lot of money.

Re: performance parts

trade it for a GTP, tell your parents its has traction control and its safer in the rain/snow. And it will have an active security system also saves on insurance (big one with parents). Good Luck!

Re: performance parts

Your parents might find out what the insurance is going to cost, and trade you in. Seeing that you are 17.
