Weak or no spark on 89' with 4.0

I have an 1989 Cherokee with a 4.0. My problem is when I start it in the morning sometimes it will have no spark. This problem seems to be aggravated by colder weather, but I'm not sure. When I pull the plug wire and set it up on a spare plug I get a weak yellow spark. Where should I start to diagnose this problem?

Any help at all would be appreciated so much.

HI, YOU CAN START WITH A TUNEUP, PLUG WIRES, PLUGS, DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR. A GOOD CLEANING OF THROTTLEBODY WOULD HELP TOO. DALE [email protected]
