HighRev87 Finally got a Mustang

Finally!!!
My long awaited Mustang is finally secured...

I bought this bad boy through eBay in an auction that ended today.
It is a 1999 Mustang GT (Year I wanted)
Manual Trans (Trans I wanted)
Black (Color I wanted)
Mach460/Leather (Exactly as I wanted)

I am so glad I finally have a stang to my name. I will be picking it up Saturday Morning, so all I can offer now is one of the pictures supplied with the auction.

Congratulations!!!
Have fun, but drive safely.

Owning a GT Mustang is like owning a handgun...
(1) Be careful where you aim that thing,
(2) Always use two hands.

Lol...i kinda have to with manual :P

As for my plans, im not sure. It really was a breakthrough for me since I Have been saving for a while, so I cant do anything major off the bat. I wanted to save and do a turbo project, so during the time that I am happy with it being stock, I am going to get to know alot of people knowledgable on the install, parts, ect, and also look into companies providing the pre-bent piping, ect. If I decide this is way to much to even save up for...then eBay S/C here I come! However like I said, for a while ill be happy with stock.

It's a GT for sure. The 99 model had the 35th anniversary edition emblem on the side. Notice that the pony has a ring around it and on the ring it says "35th year" or something like that. I have a 1:35 model of a 99 so I know this.
Oh HighRev, congrats with the car man. I know you'll have a blast with that thing!

Indeed.
And as for the hood scoop, I think it is 01+ that has the higher hood scoop, in fact I think it is a functioning ram air. Not to sure though, I really focused on the 99 year during my search for first year of 260hp mark, and financial reasons .

Thanks for the congratz guys. It is driving me nuts that I cant have it until Saturday....every day feels soooo long.

Re: HighRev87 Finally got a Mustang

No the only Mustang that has the functional ram air is the 2003-2004 Mustang Mach 1 with the "shaker Hood"....The hood scopps on all other Stangs are fake but with a little bit of tubing and tape you can easily change the "faux" scoop into a functional scoop....
