95 escort transmission-no gear changes
OK...have a 95 escort with the 1.9L motor and O/D automatic with 63K on it. I just bought the car so bear with me on not knowing much about fords. Basically the car starts off in 3rd gear and never changes! Reverse works OK and manually selecting L is OK! Sounds like its electrical to me! How do I go about diagnosing this as its not OBDII? I have already checked fluids and any loose connections.....all looks well! HELP! No other electrical issues that I know about!
