Scott Peterson case closed!

I'm sooo happy to hear this case is finally over!!! The only part I'm really waiting for is to hear the judge sentence Laci's husband from hell to life in jail. What does everyone think is going to happen?

My roommate is sick of it already, but since the judge is only giving two hours notice once the jury has a verdict, I've been spending a lot of time watching Court TV (they have the best coverage of the trial, in my opinion.) A talk radio station in my city, 770AM, also have been discussing the case quite frequently.

I just can't take another OJ walking the streets...

Kimberly

Re: Re: Scott Peterson case closed!

I'm confused. I thought the jury was still deliberating. I don't think he's guilty, I know he's guilty. Everything ive seen and heard from his actions are that of a guilty man. I hope he rots in hell.

Re: Scott Peterson case closed!

Yeah, but I'm in the Marine Corps, so the only news I watch/listen to, is the kind that says were sending more troops to Iraq.

Where did this happen?

Re: Scott Peterson case closed!

Dec 2003 in California. Lacy Peterson was several (7 or 8) months pregnant; her body was found in the water, at a place where her husband Scott was seen several times previously. There's alot more to the story, but it was fairly apparent to me after following it for awhile that he had done it. The bastid.

Re: Scott Peterson case closed!

Im not thread bashing but seriously what is the big deal? Its one case out of a 30 million a day. Why is it an international subject? If seen some way more fucked up shit happen in my district alone what makes this so special? Honestly, if i am missing something pleaze help me understand.

Re: Scott Peterson case closed!

It's the media. She was popular and well liked, pretty and pregnant and her husband killed her. Makes for good viewer numbers for the news. Not downplaying other crimes, many are heinous. If she was ugly and lived in the middle of nowhere we wouldn't have heard about it.

Re: Scott Peterson case closed!

There were a couple of similar murders the same week, but the Peterson case is soap opera and movie material. Fuck them yuppies. I say kill him just for putting us all through this bullshit trial.
