Finally 16...Just got my new '03 Ferrari 575M Maranello

Hey guys. I turned 16 3 months ago and have FINALLY gotten my new 2003 Ferrari 575M. Ive known ever since I was 12 that dad was gonna get me one of these...he has 5 but refuses to share. It was either this one or an '03 360 Spider convertible...but in the end I chose the 575M's V-12 5748cc engine over the Spiders V-8. Its got 1,234 miles on it, 19 inch modular wheels, special order "Daytona" interrior with a 6spd manual tranny. Honetsly, I didnt think my dad would get me a Ferrari nicer than one of his, but right now I think I would trade my car for only one of his, and thats the '63 250 GTO which also has the V-12, which is worth more than our house. His other four cars are a '99 550 Maranello in special order midnight black with tan leather interrior. The others a '72 365 GTC4 that he bought with onle 32 miles. The other 2 are a '03 Spider 360 and a rare '95 F 50...and he says there were only 349 made world wide. The only non-exotic car we have is a Navigator...which (go figure) is never driven. Who would?

Those pictures prove absolutely nothing. Anyone can post a picture of a car and say that it's theirs. You need to add a defining element to the picture to prove that it's really your car. Like a sign or something.

250 GTO....
let's see.
36 (39 depending on who you ask...) made.
3 were the LM type.
3 were 330.

i know of four that are in the u.s.
one in mexico.
two in canada.

anyway, my info is a little old....
what's the chassis number?

The chassis number is 3647. And there were 39 made, not 36.

Sorry, but the Ferrari 250 GTO chassis number 3647 is registered to a James McNeil Jr. from Staten Island, NY, with the license plate "RGA 538." Your profile says you're from Cookeville, Tennessee.

To bad...

You know what the funny thing is? The picture of the F50 you used still has the "Ebay camera" watermark on the bottom right corner. Maybe nextime you should steal your pictures from a source that makes your lies less obvious.

Why are kids so deperate to impress stragers on the internet? Its quite clear you don't have a Ferrari. Malka proved that quite clearly.

PS. When you claim to have a Ferrari you might whant to chage your profile to list it instead of an 86 RX7

I am from Cookeville, but moved to Nashville 4 months ago, lived there all my life so Im not used to saying I live here...and are you sure your getting accurate info on that chassis number??? Im almost positive thats it but thats not where I live and thats def not my dad. Try again or use a different source...and no those arent the actual pics on either of the cars. On my first post I only had a picture of the F 50 and not of mine...and for some reason my scanner would only post half the pic on my computer...so it would have been pointless to post the F 50 pic, so when someone asked to please put on some pics I just went surfing trying to find the ones that looked like the ones we owned. (Dads F 50 does not have the black line running through it.) And yes, I have an 86 RX-7 but it doesnt run and Its just a project car. I also own an older Kawasaki Ninja. Damn...haha you guys have done a good job making me sound like a liar...but I dont get on here to try and impress people. Maybe I can get my dad to scan off the pics on his office computer at his work and send them through email to mine. And when I get around to it Ill check the chassis number and get some info on it from him. By the way hes selling the F 50 if anyones interested.

you don't have a digital camera?

anyway.....

.....isn't #3647 a 1962 car?
i never understand.

if i were trying to fool someone, i'd choose a less documented car to lie about, not something like a 250 GTO.

what next, someone saying their dad has an XKSS? a Jota?

I wasnt going to even post this on here, but right after posting my last message and asked him the chassis number and he asked why. He told me our 250 is a replica! He has info on all of our cars on his computer and I went on his checking his info and found a chassis number of a 250...thinking it was ours...dad said it was info on someone elses he was thinking of buying, or looking into and comparing, im not sure. Hes an ass for not telling me it was a rep. It a huge bummer. He told me I needed to get my facts straight before posting shit online and I should def not use pics of cars that arent mine...but I guess I learned my lesson. I hope you guys will believe me now.

PS...and cancel the F 50 being sold. Were getting rid of mine and Im taking the F 50. The only downside is it an automatic. Do you guys think thats wise? (hopefully its not a rep car either) jk

Im not sure...I thought half were autos and half were manuals but I have no clue...my dads the one that knows everyhting. If I had good intelligence Id say I would have been able to tell the 250 was a rep car. That thing was my dream car and its still pretty cool but finding out its only a replica just kind of takes 80% of the fun out of it. But the F 50 being an auto doesnt bother me that much cause its still a V 12 and i personally like its look over the one I got now. Its racking up the miles though...its about to hit 39,000.

Re: Finally 16...Just got my new '03 Ferrari 575M Maranello

my point is, they're not autos.
standard 6 speed manual in an open gate with a carbon fibre knob.

surely if you've actually seen the car, you'd have seen the gear shift.....
