Gluing Power Window into Clip

Has anyone had success in regluing a power window back into the clip?
I have tried automotive goop, let it dry for 3 days and it didn't hold.
Everything seems to work fine. The reason the window came out initially was because the molding the window rides up and down on bunched up.
