exhaust upgrade

The guys at magnaflow told me I will get the best horsepower and torque from a single side discharge exhaust. Best for low end-mid range power. They said a rear duel exhaust is better for high performance trucks and mid-high horsepower increases. They said I could get as much as 20 HP's.

Any recommendations or info you can add on this message on the best exhaust system around with the best warrantee, horsepower and sound? I didn't get a good response from Gibson. haven't heard back from JBA and Aeroturbine which were my other choices.

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado, 2500 HD 6.0L crew cab w/ Airaid filter MIT and poweraid.

Thanks,
4 wheel

exhaust

I have a magnaflow single on one side. What they told you is true. I have a lot more low end torque. I can pull most anyone with my stock 5.7l vortec off the line for the first 100 feet or more and I mean most all stock trucks. Nothing wrong with the magnaflow.

Re: exhaust upgrade

I was told they are not that good and restrict the airflow.
