humming sound 94 honda civic

I hope some one could help me with this. i hear a humming sound in the back when i am driving, especially when moving fast. it sounds kinda like small airplane. i am thinking it may be the brakes or it needs wheel bearings. Any ideas - please help.

Could be bearings or bad tires. Mine sounded like bearings, but as soon as I changed out the tires, it cleared up.
