SRS Light 0n a '97 Civic EX

My daughter has a '97 Civic EX Coupe, and her SRS light has been on for some time. I'm thinking the SRS module is bad and it's around $400, is this something that can be had at a salvage yard?? I've called a couple and they act like they have no idea what I'm talking about.

Where would it be located? Any help would be appreciated.
