Problem with Front seat

I have an issue with my front driver seat where the "motor" does not seem to be working when I try to raise the chair up at the back side. More acuratelly the motor seems to work and makes some noise but the chair does not raise at all. It works in all other positions but not up/down at the back. I've read something about a front seat recall that Chrysler had on these models but I wasn't sure if mine falls under the same cattegory. If it does not, do you know if this would be an easy replacement?.... Would this be an expensive repair in your opinion?

Thanks

The power seat in my 94 LHS started acting up (motors spinning but not moving the seat like they should) so I went to the wrecking yard and bought the seat frame out of a 01 intrepid (any LH platform car with electric seats should work Eagle vision, Chrysler concorde or Intrepid).I had to remove the motors and gears from the used frame and put them in mine but they bolted to my LHS seat and it has been working great ever since. I do remember having to switch polarity on the wiring to some of the motors so the seat would move in the direction the switch told it to and not the opposite. Only $40 for the seat frame. I don't know how old your car is but if it is as old as mine I wouldn't even waste my time trying to get Chrysler to make good on anything. Sorry I haven't heard of the recall you mention. Good Luck.
