00 Trans Am Ws6 vs 88 rx-7 vs 91 stealth n/a
hello, im kinda asking alot in this forum but here it goes, the kid with the rx-7 thinks once he gets his rx-7 complete from its rebuild, it will destroy me....it is a turbo II and 4" exhaust, thats it. i have a 2000 trans am only with k&n. what do u think would win in a drag and my other friend has a 91 stealth r/t n/a. where would that car place if all 3 of us were to race? and the final ?, what is faster in overall speed and in acceleration, my t/a or a steath r/t twin turbo or a generation 3 rx7, all being stock? thanks

Re: 00 Trans Am Ws6 vs 88 rx-7 vs 91 stealth n/a
I shall give my opinion on your second question. As far as acceleration, the Trans AM WS6 should be the quickest, but the difference is minimal enough for driving ability to play a big factor. From a roll, the Trans AM will have an easier time beating both a RX-7 Twin Turbo and a Stealth R/T Twin Turbo. Overall the fastest car though, meaning from point A to point B where it isn't often a straight line (curves and corners come into play) the RX-7 should be fastest.

On the first part about the RX-7 if I'm thinking what 3000 is thinking, his car may be pretty fast. I guess your just going to have to find out when you race him, but I wouldn't judge it until after you race it. RX-7's can be made to go pretty fast with a few upgrades. |

keep in mind that this rx 7 is a second generation and not a twin turbo, has a single turbo, and doesnt have many performance modifications.

Sorry didn't make myself clear enough, yeah I do not think a second generation RX-7 with just an exhaust upgrade will be able to keep up with a TA WS6. I have much respect for second generation RX-7s and their potential, but stock for stock it's hardly a contest in my opinion (drag racing).
