COMPLETED '04 Z06 LeMans Ed.

Finally got pics of this one, I did both it and the Viper at the same time.

The poster is of the real deal; I was trying to show the color match but the light was off and so was the developing.

Ironically, this is the only picture I have that almost captures the Viper's color:

The assembly line:

Here's the engine of the gray vette I built a while back, the valve covers were painted to match:

That is my unbuilt C4 in the back ground, i found a C4 vert and a ZR1. I already had a ZR1 that i needed to build but i picked both up for around 10 bucks. I decided i'd build a C4 to be a "ZR1 powered" convertible. I know they never existed but i liked the idea of having a ZR1 in chrome yellow and a ZR1 convertible in this blue nail polish i have. It has been put on hold however while i build a Tamiya Supra for a friend for Christmas.

The Supra is being built for the same guy that 99Civichic is building the 93 Cobra (drag car) for, we will also throw together a 99 cobra built like one he used to own, and put together a little diarama to resemble his garage the way it used to be (he sold the 99 cobra). Should make for a pretty nice Christmas present and since he's into models i think he'll like it. We cant make it identical to his garage now because we cant build a 88 Saleen or an 04 Harley F250.

Re: COMPLETED '04 Z06 LeMans Ed.

that christmas present seems to be a cool project
But what#s the problem about the 88 saleen? I think afx-resin is making a transkit for the amt 88 stang

P.S. Sorry, but it is at least the wing:

A/FX N Scale Resin

That spoiler would be cool but if i were going to build him a saleen i'd want the entire thing to be saleen (whole body kit). I think the cobra will be more than enough. 99Civichic is still thinking about buying the lowrider mustang from Revell and cutting the bottom part of the sides off so it will have the GT ground effects on the drag car she's building for him.

Re: COMPLETED '04 Z06 LeMans Ed.

is the 88 and 93 gt body kit the same? if so, and if the amt and revell kits are the same scale, you could pick up the amt 88 gt kit. its only 6 bucks at wal mart
