Tilt Stearing 1991 Jimmy

I just purchased a 1991 Jimmy from my neice. She broke the tilt stearing mechanisim. It stears fine but the stearing column is loose (flops up & dow). I understand that there are 4 screws that tighten the tilt stearing. Is this hard to get to?

Pull the steering wheel, then pull the back plate, you will see the screws back there... Pull them all the way and spread lcoktite on them. This is common in the first gens.
