Are there any good Izuzu Rodeo Forums?

A family friend is selling a 1993 Izuzu Rodeo and my price is $3,900. That seems like a pretty good deal, it's a stick with 120K miles. Body is in great shape, and it has nice rims. My question is, are there any good Izuzu Forums out there? I have the money, and this seems like a good deal. Are there problems with the Izuzu V6? How about other problems with the Rodeo?

Please no FLAMES!!

I would appreciate any advice or former/current owners comments on the '93 Rodeo.

I have a friend who paid $500 for a 1994 Rodeo 2WD auto with 100,000 miles that supposedly had a blown head gasket. The body was in excellent shape, the interior was dirty and full of cigarette burns. The lady who owned it said she had the engine rebuilt twice and was tired of dumping money into it.

It turned out that all that was needed was a new water pump. After cleaning up the interior and replacing the water pump (which was a bitch on that engine), he sold the thing for $5,400.00! I don't know if the problems she encountered are typical. I'd say if the one you are looking at is 4WD, that's not a bad deal. Otherwise, I would probably pass.

Now we better start talking about Xterras before Schlud starts kicking ass
