99 Sierra Step-side

I have a 99 Sierra Step-side that I will inheriting in about a year and some change. I dont realy like the step side...so i was wondering if it was possible to change the step-side bed with a normal bed? I dont know much about trucks...but any help would be greatly appreciated .

Yea, they should swap. I personaly like the step sides, but i only think they look good on a reg cab. The older trucks look alot cooler to. But thats just me.
