strange sound

ok lets get started.. when i drive eazy (every day driveing) my car runs fine, but if im entering a highway entrance ramp and i press the gas pedal about 1/2 to 3/4 the way down, sometimes i hear a strange noise comeing from what seems to me as the front left engin bay, this noise can only be described as a BUZZZ that only stops when i depress the pedal the press it again a friend of mine thinks it might be a transmition problem? ( i have an automatic ) im not so sure though because the sound comes from the engine bay.. any thoughts?

check your intake *stock or aftermarket* might be a hose there.

Sounds like somthing might be loose somewhere..Park the car in ur drive way and rev the engine high from under the hood and see where its coming from try to pin point it.

you see the only problem with what you said brodyP is that the noise is only present sometimes.. yes a strange problem i know.. but anytime i try to show it to a friend, or anything like that my car.. hmm lets say "puts on a show" and acts good, it seems the car only makes this noise when i am alone, and already in motion... but ill give what you said a try
