97 Jeep Wrangler VS. 98 Lude SH

So I was driving my mom's Wrangler around the other day (it has monstrous 36 inch tires and a 4 inch lift on it, compliments of my dad) and I was picking up some buddies before the football game, and I see this 97-98 lude SH stopped at a light. It was a guy I knew from work and I asked him what was up. He said nuthin and said he was goin to the game. So the light turns green and we go, and soon enough, another red light. This time my friend in the passenger seat says we should go at it, I was like, I might have a chance, this thing has massive torque, but past 40-50 I'll get murdered. So I rev up to like 4k and the guy in the Prelude looks over at me. He revs, and we wait for the green.

I was revving at like 4500 and the tires didn't chirp for shit when I got off the line. I instantly shifted to second and began climbing, shift to third, and look to my right, and what the hell? He was probably 1 1/2 - 2 cars back. By now I'm at 45 and I shift to 4th, and he slowly starts coming up to me, but there was yet another light, and I shut down.

So I see him at the game and he said he was going to cry if I told anyone. I said I HAD to tell it to you guys here, but no one in town knows about it except my buddy in the passenger seat.

Cliff Notes:
Going to football game, see Lude SH
Don't go at 1st light, go at 2nd
Pull all the way through 4th, then shut down,
1-0 in the Wrangler haha.
