Angry 1994 4.3l s10 blazer maf???????????

does the 1994 have a maf sensor, if so where is it? it is not on my intake. I have already replaced egr, o2, fuel canister, wires, plugs, fuel filter, cap, rotor, and the thing still runs like junk. any help or suggestions would be greatly apreciated. the engine code is W. i have checked for codes and it comes up as the ecu, but not sure if it would read that way if there is a fault with the maf, if there is one, the ecu is a cool $300.00, so i'm hesitant to replace it. close to pushing this thing off of a cliff, please help!!!!!!

I have not seen a MAF on a '94.
What codes did you get when you scanned it?

What codes did you have that inspired you to change all those components?

A little more description before you do any pushing, OK?

Will the truck die at idle?

Does it idle rough?

Does it smell like gas in the engine bay when accelerating?

Do a search on EGR valve and CPI injector checking in this forum.

Your CPI injector and nut kit (fuel lines are shot).

Also check your EGR for carbon blocking it open and reinstall with a new gasket after you have scrubbed and rinsed it with TB cleaner.

Here is what you do for the injectors:

If you can smell gas, you have a leak.

Also, is your fuel smelling like gas and is thin? Is the oil level high?

Here is a link where you can see where the gas has washed the inside.

Here is mine when I swapped mine out. See the passenger side where the fuel has washed it gold.

Get a new upper plenum gasket when you do this. You might want to have a new injector and fuel line kit (called a nut kit) so you can swap it out.

Buy the CPI injector off of ebay and the nut kit from your local dealer.

Also, get this fixed ASAP or it will kill your cat and blow your engine if the fuel thins your oil too much and you blow your lower end.

You will have to check to see what is leaking first.

Safest thing to do is replace both.

Do a search on this forum or the blazer forum for CPI injector.
