Please HELP
I'm very desperate to fix this. Today I went out with my family and notice that my door lock stop working when I put the gear in drive. I then push the lock button and nothing happened. I tried to roll down the window and nothing happened. Then I tried to adjust the pedals and side view mirrors and still nothing. I also noticed that the switches doesnt light up when the headlights are on. When I open the door the interior lights doesnt turn on. Even both of my alarm doesnt work. I look on the front passenger and its the same as the driver side. It doesnt work. I opened the rear door and the interior lights came on. Even the switches for the windows has lights and I could roll the window up and down. Please help me fix this. My wife uses this car and it will be hard for her to put the kids in the back seat since she has to open the door with the key and climb back to open the rear door. My two daugters aee 3 years old and the other 1 is only 1 week old. It's a 2003 Chevy Tahoe LS. Thanks in adavance

Re: Please HELP
Hope you still have warranty on it!! Electrical demons are the worst. Take it to the dealer.

Re: Please HELP
What year is the car? Have you checked your battery cables? Some Tahoes have two cables and a spacer between them. Make sure the spacer is clean. Dave

Re: Please HELP
Sounds like the BCM is going bad. It is very common on these cars. I'd have a dealer look at it. Also, I'd double check all the fuses. It could be something simple like the door jam plug. It is were all the wire for the doors go into the body of the vehicle. Newer cars now have big plugs right there.

my car is a 2003 Ls tahoe which I bought back in Sept. of 2002. It has 45K miles on it therefor there is no warranty. I called the fleet manager which I bought my car from and ask what can he do for me. The next he called me back and told me to take my car in. I took the car in and a day later it was fix. On the invoice, it says it has a door short and replace 2 fuses and relays. I was just wondering what cause this short. Thank god didnt have to pay for it.
