TT injectors on a NA...?

I'm thinking about upgrading my injectors here soon to stock TT injectors... I was wondering however if they will fit on my stock NA fuel-rails however...? Will I also need the TT fuel-rails?

Before you guys start going off on me... the reason for the bigger FI's is NITROUS! Yeah... I may be gettin' a kit soon. Do you think that I can run the TT FI's w/o an ECU upgrade for the time being without any problems? What other reason would someone need to upgrade the FI's in their NA other than nitrous? I found this guy who has an NA with TT FI's but is not running nitrous... how would this benifit the NA Z32?

i dont know how it would benefit the n/a engine if nothing is done to it unless he needed to replace his and decided to upgrade them for ther future.

i am pretty sure that i remember reading that as long as you take the TT injectors out of a 90-93 you should be ok with the n/a fuel rail beings you have a 90-93 n/a engine. i would double check that though.

Fuel injectors are divided into the old style (90-94) and the new style (95-96). I would assume you would need a TT ECU to go with the injectors, just as you need a new ECU chip for the 615ccs or what have you. However if you are going to run large nitrous shots and need an appropriately modified ECU, you might as well get an aftermarket ecu at this point. Then you can get it tailored to your needs and will have all the additional benefits of a performance modified computer.

The injectors well fit if you use the earlier ones, but if you can get them with the fuel rails then you won't have to change the "O" rings. You'll need to change your EPROM chip to use the 370cc injectors. I suggest you contact Chip Ginn at the below address and tell him you want a dual program EPROM, by just fliping a switch you can run normal or juice and open up a can of whip-ass. If you take the time and send him your ECU he'll set you up for something like $100-150. You can email him and tell him what you want to do or call him. He knows me very well by my real name and Zgringo. He also has one of the fastest stock Zed's in the country.

Ivia,, How much Nitrous do you plan on running? The reason is with normal upgrades you'll have somewere in the area of 275 HP and the TT injectors (370cc) running at 80% duty cycle well carry you up to 350 HP, but here's where you have to plan for the future, if you plan on going with more nitrous or a stroker or both the 370CC TT injectors won't be big enough. I'd suggest using the 555cc injectors that way you could go up to 500 HP without any problems. When you have the ECU upgraded just let it be known your running 555cc injectors. In the VG30DE engine you have the potential (approx.) of 1 HP for every cc of injector size. So TT 370cc injector's, 370 HP, 555cc injector's, 550 HP. You could make that much power with a 200 shot of Nitrous easily. With that much power and a good automatic with a 3,500 stall convertor you'd have to wear a neck brace on launching. The only thing you'd have make sure of is you run 92+ octane gas and when using Nitrous retard the ignition 6-8 degree's. That's why I said to make sure you get a dual program EPROM chip for you ECU with a switch.

Re: TT injectors on a NA...?

ZGringo: Basically I'm just gonna run a 50 shot for the time being with my other bolt-ons... until the swap comes. But I figured the boys at ESCORT will be smart enough to up the ante on the injectors of the new engine... once I get to sit down with them and let them know what I want... thanks for the linky!
