Car sputters when I give gas. Help!!!

I am running a B16A1 and I had a bad distributor. My car had been sputtering when I drove it, and I figured it would be the distributor. It still sputters when I give it gas. The idle goes up and then begins to drop as I hold the gas pedal in place. It almost seems like it is not receiving any gas. I have replaced the distributor, fule filter, used injector cleaner. and I still don't know what is doing it. Does anyone have any info. that can help?

you said you changed your distributor, but did you change your plugs and wires as well? My car had the exact same problem... I had a fouled plug in there... horribly corroded. Check those plugs. Also check your timing.

I checked the spark plugs and I have oil in the spark chamber. I will replace the sparkplug chamber seals, but I doubt that will be it. I don't think it is a spark problem. It really feels like it is a fuel problem. A while back I had to change the main fuel realy. It was doing sort of the same thing and that was fixed. Also, about a 1 1/2 years ago the valve in back of the throttle body (IACV Iforget what it is called) gave some problems. I never replaced it because they told me to just clean it with throtle body cleaner and put it back on. that seemed to work also. Now I am wondering if that is what is acting up again. Does anyone have
