Greetings from Kingston, Jamaica!
Good folks, I am from Kingston, Jamaica. I have an uninteresting car called a Daihatsu Applause that can be seen at my homepage. The Applause wasn't sold in the 'States IIRC. I come from Jamaica where the roads are narrow and potholed and where we drive on the left side of the road (or rather, we are supposed to drive on the left side of the road; what Jamaican motorists do and what they are supposed to do are often very different things...)
There are some nice, twisting sports-car roads in eastern Jamaica if they haven't been washed away by the latest hurricane; I haven't been there since June, and two hurricanes have grazed us since then. There is also a lot of highway construction on the north and south coasts (the south coast highway is/will be a toll road) which would be more suited for cruising.
I used to have a motorcycle, but it got too expensive to maintain and I sold it, putting the money in the car fund. The car fund was depleted about a month later by the purchase of an actual car.
I have wide and general tastes in cars, from microcars to musclecars. I am not a fan of front-wheel-drive performance cars. I don't think I should like muscle cars and land yachts, but I do anyway. Not that I've ever driven one; I'd like to do that one day.
Anyway, I have now used at least three hundred words just to say "Hi!" so I think I'll stop.
Respectfully yours,
Sam Blob
