JDM importing company

I was checking out the website http://www.japan-partner.com/ , and it looks pretty cool. I'm sure there is no way I could realisticly import one of these cars without big bucks (I only have 10k) but here is my question, If I wanted to import a right hand drive supra, would it need very expensive conversions like a skyline or S15? I thought it might be pretty easy since they have supras in the US. Thanks.

A Supra still might not be easy, since it would be rhd. You would need a way to prove that, aside from rhd, it is no different from the US-spec Supras.

you're going to need a letter from the manufacturer stating that it has the same enigine... but its not that easy there still will be more things to go through...why get a supra imported? its available here in the US.

being a RHD car owner myself i recommend buying one already in the USA...about getting the letter from manufacture...HAH, those fucks won't lift one hand to help you out, i tried to get one myself when i imported an integra this past year..these fucks just say, oh we don't do that...blah, blah...etc...

next problem is customs, and 4-5 forms you have to fill out which make no goddamn sence...they look over the forms and if something they feel is filled out wrong they will circle it in red and say no its improperly filled out...i spend 8 hrs at the miami customs office, i am telling you what no one else will.

then there is other shit to deal with like a broker since you have a 99% chance of not filling out the forms correct, and you will have to pay the broker a sizeable bit of money...

then there is bonds for EPA, DOT, USCBP....if any apply to importing a supra...

i went thru all this shit for damn near 7 months up until i could not get the car i imported from Japan cleared...search my previous threads to see what im talking about..

recently i bought a RHD SiRII that was already in the states, and i now realize i should have done this in the first place...with 10k you can get something real nice....i know of a JDM RHD TT Rx7 for 9k.

hey easy guys its ok I had thought about that to its not a bad Idea consideing used supras like 94's in dencent condition go for around 25-30k while in japan a 96 would run you 16-20 if that. still legality with a supra I wound think is that bad.

Also its better he posted here the supra forums I would expect them to know jack about legality and importing. Ask sean about the supra he would know. Also good choice man I love RHD's they feel awsome. And if your all wondering if ive been in one I have an 01 silver ferrari 360 spider with paddles hehe.

sorry that i was just stating the obvious. you would get a better response in say......the supra forum. everyone that joins AF seems to come directly to the skyline forum to ask us questions.

and its not uncommon at all for a 96 supra to go for 20 grand. around my area, youd be hard pressed to find even a 93 to go for under 20 grand. they are in high demand. and im talking about the TT supras, not the NA....cuz really if you are going with a name like the supra, you want top of the line....just like the skyline.

Supras are and always will be high pried tuner cars. There a diamond in the rough you could say.
