2 tickets recieved today

the other night i got 2 tickets one for parkin less than 30 ft from a stop lightand the other not properly affixxed registration and inpection stickers.my question is i understand the stop light one but canit i just fix the stickers. also today a police officer happened to pull up to my friends house where my car was parked and checkedm y car and wnated to write me a ticket i was told for my tint however i was no where near the car it was park infront of the house . are they allowwed to give a ticket for that even if no ones in it. by the way i live in NY

Be happy, at least neither are a moving violations. At least you're insurance won't go up. Did you actually get a ticket for the windows? First of all check the NY law about the tint, and make sure that it is actually illegal. If it is illegal, than there isn't much that you can do, other than fix it.

You could get a ticket for no registration sticker even if you have paid the registration fee. Because it is required by law to affix the sticker. If you paid ur registration fee, but didn't put the sticker on, the fine would probably be just the processing fee for the ticket. If you didn't pay, you will certainly be fined by the court, along with DMV registration + a % of the registration for non-payment.
Tickets are issued to the vehicle's registered owner when driver could not be identified

If it is on the road...I would think yes. If it is in a driveway or private property...NO!
