How do you push the cylinder on the caliper in??
Im working on my rear calipers right now, and i need to press the caliper cylinder in a few mm so it will fit over the rotor. My E brake is down so it should be able to be pushed back... i tried with a big clamp i have but that thin gis just not moving back at all... is there a trick to this? because i have worked on many calipers before and never had this problem... Does it have something to do with the E brake ? even tho its still down? Please help. thanks.

In the rear the cylinder has to be turned instead of pushed. Turn it and it will go in
