chug-chug!

My passat (4 cyl turbo) almost stalls when I slow down quickly. It gives a big shake! It doesn't chug when I coast slowly to a stop.
Is this a small issue like a spark plug or sensor...? I still have a week left on the dealer warranty, I don't want them to try and tell me a story if I take it in.

Could it be this?

Re: chug-chug!

2001 Passat? It's not normal, but may be hard to diagnose if it doesn't do it often. It could be something like a sensor, is your check engine light on? It could also be a dirty throttle body or in need of maintenance (filters, plugs, etc...).
