Question 3rd gen springs

Does anyone know of any spring mods for 3rd gen (82-85) celicas? I know there are ground control springs, but they seem pricey. I had an idea of cuting celica supra springs, but I want to avoid cut springs. Also I heard about something that RSX springs fit in 3rd gens, does anyone know about this?

Re: 3rd gen springs

hey, i just got some adjustable coilovers for my 3rd gen..i don't know if the rsx fits, but i got mine from my brothers 95 240sx. he bought obx gravitaional coilovers for his 240 but it didn't fit and i tried it on mine and it fit just right in...the max i got was 2in. and i only got the front done, so not so sure about the back.. it took me 4 hours to get the fronts done...and i'll try the back one when i have the time...

i see, good info though, thanks again. If it's not too much trouble, could to measure the diameter of the front obx springs you installed?

oh hey, where you from? I know of a place to get good brake rotors.

the brake rotors i got are for the front, they are basic brembos but they will do whatever you want to them for no charge. I got my brembos zinc plated, x drilled and slotted for $100 for the pair. The place is in Orange county (southern california), don't know where marysville is, but I think you can get them if you send in a money order, they don't accept credit cards. Their phone # is 714-899-0677. If you want pics of my rotors i can post them if you want.
