Horn, Alarm horn relay linked?

I have a 2000 rodeo. I replaced the alarm timer control unit to fix a problem with the intermittant wipers. Last week, however, the horn and alarm siren (smaller horn unit) stopped working. They sound off fine if I jump them to a hot terminal.

My guess is that I need to replace the same part again. When I hit the remote door lock control, I hear a relay clicking in the keyless entry module.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I want to make sure I replace the right part since they are pretty expensive and the parts house offers no returns on this stuff.

Thanks
A.

Re: Horn, Alarm horn relay linked?

the only other thing you may try is check to be certain your anti theft module has been properly connected thats the smaller module that sits a bit lower tha the alarm relay module. if that does not work try underhood fuse box EB-2 10A horn fuse check it if ok then disconnect the anti theft module and try this pin # 10 in the connector is a green w/white wire with the ignition on jump this wire to ground if the horn sounds then your problem is in the anti theft module.
