93 Deville Oil
On my 93 DeVille I just put 3,000 miles on it since I got it, now at 71,000 I dont know what the previous owner used but I had put in Castrol 10w30 is this a good oil for the 4.9 Also the Cadillac dealer sugested that at this milage a full change and flush out of the anti freeze, transmision and diferential is this ok or just to take my money they want about 500.00 to do all of this. Thanks Kraig

Re: 93 Deville Oil
They just want your money Trust Me on this. $500 is a ripoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Find an honest service station, you'll save lots of money. I wouldn't pay more than $200 tops for all that work. Personally I don't believe its even warranted at your mileage. I'd spend the money on a full tune up w/all new hoses and a timing belt. Those rear spark plugs are tough to change due to you have to get them from underneath the car. Your choice of oil is fine.

Re: 93 Deville Oil
Thanks for the reply and yes I would say that is way to much money for that. The hoses and belt look new like they may have been put on just before I bought the car in all reality the car still looks new in and out even under the hood is neat as a pin paid 2,100 for it not bad would you say! I would love to post some pics of it but it wont let me. Kraig
