Exclamation Red Line

i was down in modesto like a week ago and had to go to the saturn dealership to get my little bros car fixed. whille i was there i walked around and saw a red line, i fell in love with that car, red lines are so freaking tight. i would not mind throwing a red line motor into a 96 SC2. wow those cars a sweet

Re: Red Line

Talk to the guys at Twistec. They'll put that 2.2L Ecotec into an SC2, no problem. And they'll turbocharge it instead of the supercharger that comes on the RedLine. Plus they'll put in a whole bunch of other performance stuff.

Redline

I LIVE IN CINCINNATI OH, AND JUST PURCHASED AN ION REDLINE. I WAS DRIVING A '00 CELICA, AND WITH IT BEING THE END OF THE YEAR AND ALSO BEING AN EMPLOYEE OF SATURN, I GOT A HECK OF A DEAL. $17.6 W/ 0 PERCENT FINANCING. I CAN TELL YOU STRAIGHT UP, IT'S 10X QUICKER THAN MY GT-S WAS. IT'S RATED AT 205 HP, BUT THE AWESOME THING IS THAT GM FOUND A WAY TO NOT LOSE POWER FROM THE FLYWHEEL TO THE WHEELS. IT'S RATED AT 197HP AT THE WHEELS. I OUTRAN MY BUDDY IN HIS ECLIPSE GST AND ANOTHER BUDDY W/A DEL SOL W/A B18 IN IT. THE SOUND OF THE SUPERCHARGER WINDING UP SOUNDS AWESOME. THERES ALREADY PLANS FOR LSD, AND A BIGGER BLOWER. THE CURRENT EATON BASED CHARGER IS RUNNING AT 12 PSI. THE COBALT IS THE EXACT SAME CAR W/A DIFF. BODY,BIGGER WHEELS, AND A BOOST GAUGE. BUT IN THE COBALT YOU'RE LOSING THE RECARO BUCKETS. THE BOTH OF THEM RUN THE SAME 2.0 ECOTECH SUPERCHARGED ENGINE. AND FOR THE GUY INTERESTED IN GETTING THIS ENGINE, I JUST SAW IN HOT ROD MAG. THAT YOU CAN GET IT FOR $4500.00.
