CLK-GTR in emissions shop

Found these pics, and asked the peeps where the car was. They said it was in an emissions shop in cali.

One quick question:
What's with the acceleration on the GTR? I've seen it around 3.7 for 0-60, but for a car so light and so loaded with hp what gives? Horribly wrong gear ratio?

Also no the gtr is 3.8 sec's hehe. I think its pretty heavy.
