Question cv problems?

I have read in a couple places that If you lift tacoma with automatic hubs more than 3 inches you will do cv damage. I am looking to go with a tuff country 5" with 2 inch coil spacers and I was wondering what problems I may run into and If the problem with going higher then 3 causing cv problems is true what measures can I take to avoid that and still go big.
