1200hp/1200tq dyno maxed by TT Viper

A little TT viper maxed out my buddy's Dynojet last week on only 15 psi and no nitrous. The guy ran a 9.2 the first time at the track and a 9.07 @ 166 in a 6 speed car. This car should run 8.80's next week or faster @ 170mph+ and quickly become the fastest 6 speed in existance. Surpassing a Supra that ran an 8.98.

Here is a pic launching on the 9.07 run. The car dyno'd those numbers in MD, and is totally streetable on 15psi at 1300rwhp. The car still has the rear wing, 100lbs of stereo and all a/c components in it. When they go higher with the PSI it will need 110octane and should make 1500rwhp the next time they take it to the track.

Are those tires street legal? Impressive how they got that much out of the Viper, really impressvie, I thought most Vipers were limited to about 950-1000 hp, which is still a 4 digit number mind you.

for the msot badass E34 on the planet,

www.vsmotor.no

1033 hp and 60% of the cylinders,

When they are working, I've heard far too many Hennessey horror stories than the average human being should be subjected to.

It seems like every month there's a new, more powerful Viper coming out, always from someone different, not that it's a bad thing, just that I wasn't as shocked by a 1300 hp Viper as I should have been.

Numbers become nearly irrelevant when they are that high anyways.

I question the tires too, pretty good ripple effect there, first Viper I've seen bring the front tires off the ground that's still streetable.

"Most Vipers" aren't limited to 1000 hp, most can acheive that running on pump gas, let's see your inline six do this. Doug Levin has a Viper system that I think is 1100 hp and 1300 lb-ft of torque and I've got a video that I got from the Viper forums of it doing 60-110 mph in 3 seconds flat spinning the tires the whole way in third gear on a freeway.

I haven't heard too much about Hennessy's Vipers being bad build quality, in fact the latest SRT-10 won the Supertuner Challenge or w/e in Car & Driver and peformed flawlessly and was the first Viper I think that has gotten a five star rating in street drivability. If anything it's SVSi that has problems. There are quite a few Viper tuners mainly because I think they all just want to have the highest horse system. And if 1300 horse doesn't shock you then I wonder if a 500,000 volt stun gun would.

Amish Kid, the SRT-10 Hennessy Viper that won only had 800 horse and 850 for torque and it said something about you having to be higher than 3rd gear not to spin your tires so imagine over 60% more power.

I think the Vipers only set back is that the engine must create a ton of heat when turbocharged with so much and that risks pre-detonation, I'm not an expert either so I don't know how much the blocks can handle, new generation or previous.

Not to insult was is obviously a badass ride but is it just me or does the intercooler look like someone photo shopped in a picture of a harmonica?

Anyway, I also like what looks to be an inch or so of gap between the panels down by the rear tire as all the power warps the frame. Looks like they have some more chassis bracing to do
