Stereo problem

The other day i thought the steroe in my 00 intrigue started sounding funny, i played with the balance and found that the left rear speaker only played very softly, even when i turned the volume up really high it was all treble and no bass, and the speaker was very quiet. If the speaker is blown would it still play at all, a loose wire? if anyone has any idea let me know thanks

Yes. But like you said softly. Your speaker is blown just change it out. Doesn't cost much to replace. If you're tight on cash. Wallly-mart has rears. $20 somthing dollars.
Size of the rears: 6x9's
Front: 5 1/4 component speakers.
