I have a 97 prelude type-sh. Yesterday my check engine and atts light came and some one suggested that i disconnected the negative on the battery to reset the ecu. To see if the cels would come back. But after i connected it agian the wont start at it. When i put the key in all the lights and radio work but it just doesnt start. it doesnt try to start or make and noise just when i am trying to start it the abs light stays on and then when i turn it off it goes away. Before i disconnected the battery everything was fine. Any idea? thanks everyone

Re: My car wont start
move ur batt. cables around...sometimes there OLD AND RUSTY AND NEED TO BE MOVED AROUND so they touch just RIGHT
...tho if that's the CASE and ur car turns on after that...go hit up autozone for new tip cables "not the whole thing just the tip" there like 5 bucks for both...u can also do a "mickey mouse" and srew a nut on the tip of the cable between the batt and the connecter so they touch...if ur batt. is old and has lots of white u can also spray some spirt and it'll go way...
