research

Hi yall, I currently a taurus thats a major piece of shit. im thinkin about trying to buy a cavalier coupe, you know the two door one. can anyone give me any reccemendations or any info. good or bad doesnt really matter just trying to figure out if it would be a good investment or not. if this a good car what year(s) and/or model(s) would be reccemended? thanx

Cavalier's with the 2.2 engine are more reliable, but the 2.4's have more power. If you're looking for a daily driver, I'd opt for the 2.2.

I'd say anything newer than 98+ which have the 2200 2.2 or if you get into the 2002+ you can get yo self an ecotec 2.2L and i would also have to say a manual transmission would be less troublesome that the electronically controlled..

Would anyone happen to know what type of insurence rate to expect? i hear these are family cars so i assime that it would be cheap, right? i also hears that almost all two doors are considered sporty with higher rates. does that count here or is there still a chance of recieving a low rate?
