Me vs. AWD turbo Talon

So there's this guy who always tries to have the best of everything. Loudest system, fastest car, and so on.And he is always mouthing everybody else's cars for not being as good as his.Well a couple weeks ago he sold his old muscle car for an AWD turbo Talon that is suppose to be built out the ass. While I'm out cruisin around I see him and a bunch of other cars in a Burger King parking lot. I decide to stop in and see what all work it has done and his reply was " I don't talk about what work it has done to it, you wouldn't understand the lingo anyways cause your car isn't turbo." I just laughed and said well how about we catch a light? he agrees and we line up in front of the parking lot for all to see. Light turns green and he catches about a half car in first gear, but as soon as I shifted into second and started pullin on him hard i began to feel sorry for him. I ended up winning by about 2 1/2 or 3 cars in a lil over an 1/8 mile race where i slowed down because of a red light. Of course he knew i would say something to him if he would stop so he ran the red light and just kept on going. The next day I ran into one of his friends who happened to catch the race. Since i don't really run around with the group of people he does, he and his friends knew nothing about my car, and I never popped the hood. So now the word is out about a sleeper integra in town.

Re: Me vs. AWD turbo Talon

That guy must not know how to drive, 'cause I've wasted a lot of well built 'tegs with good drivers. Especially since you say you ended up winning by 2 1/2 or 3 cars. I think if both drivers were equal and your mods list in your sig is up to date it would be a close race with a stock to slightly modded Talon TSi, but it would win.

Re: Me vs. AWD turbo Talon

I'm sure he isn't as use to the car as he could be. But car for car mine was faster. But again it is only said that his car is built. Noone has seen his engine, only the exhaust.

Nice, man. I'm actually jealous of your ride, having a quick n/a integra seems to be alot of fun, esp. when you can take out quick cars...so you have no external mods whatsoever? Even better.

Keep up the good work, and keep it n/a!

Re: Me vs. AWD turbo Talon

Nice kill. It always makes the kill a little better when they talk smack first. I really have a lot of respect for you guys that build N/A Hondas and Acuras. Props to your ride and you. Post up some timeslips soon. That sounds a lot like some kid around me. I always hear about how cool and fast his car is. I think his is an eclipse though. One of my friends has a turbo Talon with a turbo back Apexi and a Greddy Type s. He might have a couple other tricks, but it runs 13.9s and has a couple problems. Ultimate sleeper because it looks like shit. Nice car tho.

Re: Me vs. AWD turbo Talon

Only exterior mods I have are a set of Konig Helium 17's, just because I got a real good deal on them with tires.

Haven't had a chance to take it to the track because I told a friend we would go to the track together since it's about an hour drive and he wants to wait to get some mods to his CL before running it in the 1/4.

'merican car guy goes import...
right.
He probably doesn't know the car worth a shit, and is just spouting what he was told by the guy who sold it to him...
Good kill. I would've paid money to see the look on that poor fucker's face when you layed waste to his "built" machine...

Re: Me vs. AWD turbo Talon

Nice. I'd like to know what was done to his car, though, cause my grandma could beat you in a "built up the ass" dsm, no offence intended. Someone probably gave him a stock car with a loud exhaust and told him it'd run 11s.

Thats why I like my galant vr-4. I have body damage so it looks like shi.t.. When I beat someone they think I'm using nitrous so I open the trunk and pop the hood so they can look for it. they never find nitrous cause I don't have any but they don't see the turbo either. I guess it helps to know what a galant vr4 is, a perfect sleeper next to a 89 turbo caravan.
