dash lights dimmer not working 96 blazer

the dash lights do work. however, the dimmer has to be pushed all the way up for them to come on. it's all or nothing. it's very annoying. anyone else have this problem? or have an idea on how to fix it?

thanks!

Yep, it sure sounds like the dimmer is out to lunch. I think you need a new one.

I think you have to replace the assembly.

You can't just repace the one switch.
