fuel pressure?

hey guys im having a problem. my exhaust backfires everytime i get off the gas, and the exhaust has a strange sound i really cant explain. this started after adjusting the fuel pressure with a commandflo. i adjusted it to 40 psi, is that too high? does anyone know the stock pressure on the d16z6. My car has i/h/e, cam gear, highflo cat, and full catback exhaust. Does anyone know what kind of fuel pressure i should be running here? Or if it isnt the fuel pressure, what other problems it could be? Thanks!

My friend has a 94 Accord LX and he is running 39psi with I/H/E and his doesnt back fire. I think the problem lies somewhere else but im not sure where. Sorry.

With the minnor mods you listed you have no need to up the fuel pressure.
Remove the regulator and leave the pressue as standard. The problem will then go away.

At the moment your running way to rich, and it will only be hurting your overall performance.
